Ingredients

4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or olive oil.

Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the greased baking dish. Make sure they have enough space between them for even cooking.

Apply the Glaze: Generously brush the honey mustard glaze over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well covered.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. (Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.)

Broil for Extra Color (Optional): For a beautiful caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye to prevent burning!

Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 2 minutes. Transfer the salmon to serving plates, drizzle any remaining glaze from the baking dish over the top, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
