Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free alternative)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup plant-based milk (or regular milk)

½ cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil until they are well coated.

Create the Batter: In another mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add the plant-based milk, mixing until you achieve a smooth batter.

Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated. Shake off any excess batter before placing them in the air fryer basket.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Frying: Arrange the battered cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may have to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Buffalo Sauce Toss: In a large bowl, toss the cooked cauliflower with the buffalo sauce until they are evenly coated.

Final Air Fry: Return the sauced cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes at 375°F (190°C) to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.

Serve: Transfer the buffalo cauliflower to a serving platter, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with blue cheese or ranch dressing on the side.
