Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Optional: Dipping sauce (ketchup, aioli, or ranch dressing)

Instructions

Prepare the Potatoes:

    - Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Dry them with a clean towel.

      - Cut each potato into wedges: first, slice the potato in half lengthwise, then each half into 3-4 wedges, depending on the size of the potato.

        Season the Wedges:

          - In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

            - Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the oil and spice mixture.

              Preheat the Air Fryer:

                - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

                  Air Fry the Wedges:

                    - Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there is some space between the wedges for even cooking. You may need to cook them in batches.

                      - Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to promote even crisping.

                        - Keep an eye on the wedges during the last few minutes and remove them once they are golden brown and crispy.

                          Serve:

                            - Carefully transfer the crispy potato wedges to a serving platter. If desired, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for added color and flavor.

                              - Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce on the side.
