Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup pepperoni slices, chopped

½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use a pizza cutter to slice it into 2-inch squares.

Fill the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, chopped pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Take one square of pizza dough, place about a tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture in the center, and then fold the corners over the filling to create a sealed ball.

Form the Bombs: Gently roll the ball in your hands to ensure it's fully sealed and the filling is contained. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling.

Coat the Bombs: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and grated Parmesan cheese. Lightly brush or dip each pizza bomb in the olive oil mixture, ensuring they are well coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
