4 whole wheat pitas

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup roasted red peppers, sliced (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup Kalamata olives, sliced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Olive oil, for drizzling

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Pitas: Place the whole wheat pitas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. This will prevent them from sticking and make cleanup easier.

      Add Seasonings: In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Drizzle a little olive oil over each pita and sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly across the surface.
