Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

6 slices of thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled

12 oz egg noodles

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-combined.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked noodles and frozen peas (if using) to the chicken mixture. Mix until the noodles are evenly coated with the creamy ranch mixture.

Layer in a Casserole Dish: Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with olive oil. Pour the chicken and noodle mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.

Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
