12 oz spaghetti

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup baby spinach

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Spaghetti: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

        Add Liquids: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

          Season the Sauce: Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
