Ingredients

2 large ripe bananas

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 cup crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or peanuts)

1 cup sprinkles (optional)

4 wooden popsicle sticks

Parchment paper for lining baking sheet

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Start by peeling the bananas and slicing them in half widthwise. Insert a wooden popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half, pushing it about halfway through to secure it.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat.

Dip the Bananas: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Hold each banana pop by the stick, dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s covered evenly. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off.

Add the Toppings: Immediately after dipping, roll the chocolate-covered banana in the crushed nuts or sprinkle with colorful sprinkles if desired. Place the decorated pops on the prepared baking sheet.

Freeze: Once all banana pops are dipped and decorated, place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.

Serve: Once the pops are frozen, take them out of the freezer and serve immediately for a cool and refreshing treat. Enjoy your delightful Choco-Banana Bliss Pops!
