Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Roll Base:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup milk

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Filling:

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Layer:

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1/4 cup sour cream

For the Topping:

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk (to desired consistency)

Extra ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cinnamon Roll Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the softened butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined. The batter will be thick but pourable.

Make the Cinnamon Filling: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until it forms a paste. Set aside.

Assemble the Base: Pour about half of the cinnamon roll batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan, spreading evenly across the bottom. Dollop the cinnamon filling mixture on top and swirl it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect. Pour the remaining batter on top, spreading evenly.

Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Finally, add the sour cream and mix until smooth and creamy.

Layer the Cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the cinnamon roll base in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour to prevent cracking.

Chill: Once cooled, cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to firm up.

Make the Topping: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze. Add more milk if necessary to reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Once the cheesecake is chilled, remove it from the springform pan. Drizzle the glaze over the top and sprinkle with additional ground cinnamon if desired. Slice, serve, and enjoy your Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake Delight!
