Ingredients

1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk (whole or almond)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Butter or cooking spray (for greasing the pan)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.

Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Add the cut cinnamon roll pieces to the egg mixture, gently tossing to coat each piece evenly.

Distribute the cinnamon roll pieces evenly into the greased muffin tin, pressing them down slightly to fit.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

While the bites bake, heat the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds, until it’s pourable.

Once done baking, allow the French toast bites to cool for a couple of minutes before gently removing them from the muffin tin.

Drizzle the warmed icing over the bites and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Serve warm with maple syrup on the side for dipping. Enjoy your sweet breakfast treats!
