Ingredients

8 oz (225 g) rotini pasta

1 can (12 oz or 340 g) tuna in water, drained and flaked

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cucumber, diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped (or 2 tablespoons dried dill)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: 1/4 cup black olives, sliced

Instructions

Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely. Set aside.

Prepare the veggies: While the pasta is cooking, chop the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. If using olives, slice them as well.

Make the dressing: In a separate bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth. Add the chopped dill, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, tuna, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and olives (if using). Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

Chill and serve: Cover the pasta salad with plastic wrap or transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Taste and adjust: Before serving, taste the salad and adjust seasoning if necessary. You may want to add more lemon juice, dill, salt, or pepper depending on your preference.

Serve it up: Scoop the chilled tuna dill pasta salad into bowls or on a serving platter. You can garnish with extra dill or lemon zest if desired.
