Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 cup fresh basil leaves

1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/2 jalapeño, seeds removed (for heat)

Instructions

Start by slicing the avocados in half. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a food processor.

Add the fresh basil, parsley, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard to the food processor along with the avocado.

If you like a bit of heat, add the jalapeño now. Blend everything until it’s smooth and creamy. You can adjust the consistency by adding a little water or extra yogurt if necessary.

Taste and season with salt and pepper according to your preference. Blend again briefly to incorporate the seasoning.

Transfer the dip into a serving bowl, and optionally garnish with some extra herbs or a drizzle of olive oil for presentation.

Serve with your choice of fresh vegetables, pita chips, or crusty bread for dipping!
