8 oz (about 2 cups) pasta (fusilli or rotini work well)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine), drained

1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Olive oil for drizzling

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

    Prepare the Dressing: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until smooth and creamy.
