Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

9 lasagna noodles

3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (about 2 large breasts)

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.

      Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

        Layer the Ingredients: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce at the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

          First Layer: Spread half of the chicken mixture on the noodles. Add another layer of 1 cup of ricotta cheese, followed by a layer of 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/3 of the remaining Alfredo sauce.

            Repeat Layers: Add 3 more lasagna noodles and repeat the layering process: another layer of the chicken mixture, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Alfredo sauce.

              Final Layer: Place the last 3 lasagna noodles on top. Spread the remaining Alfredo sauce over the top noodles. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.

                Bake the Lasagna: Cover the dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, you may want to spray the foil with cooking spray). Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                  Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or basil before slicing and serving.
