12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

    Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

      Prepare Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
