Creamy Garlic Butter Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup of sliced cremini or white mushrooms

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup of heavy cream

1/2 cup of chicken broth

1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons of unsalted butter

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon of dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and thyme.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
