12 large jumbo pasta shells

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 cups marinara sauce

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, chopped spinach, minced garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

      Stuff the Shells: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a teaspoon, carefully stuff each cooked pasta shell with the spinach and cheese mixture. Place the filled shells in a baking dish.

        Add Marinara Sauce: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring that they are well-coated. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
