Ingredients

1 jar (16 oz) dill pickles (whole or sliced, depending on preference)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (Panko works best for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

Cooking spray (or olive oil spray)

Optional: dipping sauce (ranch or spicy mayo)

Instructions

Prep the Pickles: Drain the pickles and place them on paper towels. Pat them dry to remove excess moisture, which helps in achieving crispiness.

Set Up Your Breading Station: In a shallow dish, add the all-purpose flour. In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a third shallow dish, combine the seasoned breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.

Coat the Pickles: Dredge each pickle in the flour, tapping off any excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure that the pickles are well-coated for maximum crunch.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.

Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket, as this will prevent them from crisping up properly.

Air Fry the Pickles: Spray the tops of the pickles with cooking spray to encourage browning. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve and Enjoy: Carefully remove the pickles from the air fryer, serve them warm with your choice of dipping sauce, and enjoy the delightful crunch!
