8 chicken drumsticks

4 cloves of garlic, minced

Zest of 1 large lemon

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Marinate the Drumsticks: In a large mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.

    Coat the Chicken: Add the drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. The wire rack will help the chicken crisp up.
