4 large everything bagels

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

1 teaspoon dried minced onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 300°F (150°C). This low temperature allows the bagel chips to become crispy without burning.

    Slice the Bagels: Carefully slice each bagel into thin rounds, about 1/4-inch thick. You can choose either a vertical or horizontal slice, depending on your preference for chip shape.

      Prepare the Oil Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried minced onion, salt, and black pepper. If you like a bit of heat, add crushed red pepper flakes to the mix.

        Coat the Bagel Slices: Place the sliced bagels in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the oil mixture over the top and toss gently with your hands or a spatula until all slices are evenly coated.

          Arrange on Baking Sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Spread the coated bagel slices out in a single layer on the baking sheets, ensuring there’s space between them for even baking.
