Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a standard cupcake pan with paper liners.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Cream Butter: In another bowl, use a hand mixer to cream the softened butter until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.

Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the grape soda, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Scoop Batter: Use a cookie scoop or spoon to distribute the batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Cool: Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Frosting: In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and powdered sugar using a hand mixer. Gradually mix in the grape soda and vanilla extract until the frosting is smooth and creamy. If desired, add purple food coloring to achieve your desired shade.

Frost Cupcakes: Once the cupcakes are cooled, frost them generously with the grape soda frosting using a piping bag or a spatula.

Garnish: Top with grape candies or fresh grapes, and sprinkle with edible glitter if desired for an extra pop of fun!
