Ingredients

1 medium seedless watermelon

8 oz dark chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for a smoother chocolate)

Sea salt (for sprinkling)

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon: Slice the watermelon into 1-inch thick rounds. Cut the rounds into bite-sized triangles or squares. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.

Dip the Watermelon: Dip each watermelon piece halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off. Place the dipped watermelon on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Toppings (Optional): While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle sea salt or any other desired toppings like crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles on top.

Freeze: Once all pieces are dipped and decorated, place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely set and the watermelon is frozen.

Serve: Once frozen, remove from the freezer and enjoy! You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for a refreshing snack later.
