1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)

1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts are ideal)

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for sprinkling)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup dried cherries or cranberries (optional for a fruity twist)

Instructions
 

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until completely melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

    Prepare the Nut Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts, shredded coconut (if using), dried cherries or cranberries (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir well to evenly distribute all the ingredients.

      Combine Ingredients: Pour the melted chocolate over the nut mixture. Gently fold the nuts and coconut into the chocolate until everything is well coated.

        Form the Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon, scoop out heaping spoonfuls of the chocolate-nut mixture and drop them onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 1-2 inches apart.

          Sprinkle Sea Salt: Before the chocolate sets, lightly sprinkle sea salt over each cluster to enhance the flavors.

            Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the clusters to chill for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully hardened.

              Remove and Store: Once hardened, remove the clusters from the parchment paper and transfer them to an airtight container. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a month (if they last that long!).
