Ingredients

For the Crust:

2 cups crushed pretzels

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the Yogurt Filling:

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

For the Topping:

1 cup whipped cream (heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks)

1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Optional: mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pretzel Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir well until the pretzels are fully coated.

        - Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch (or similar size) baking dish to form the crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

          Make the Yogurt Filling:

            - In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or agave), and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well-combined.

              - Gently fold in the diced strawberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

                Assemble the Squares:

                  - Once the pretzel crust has cooled, pour the yogurt filling over the crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

                    - If desired, sprinkle some additional crushed pretzels on top for extra crunch.

                      Freeze the Dessert:

                        - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in the freezer. Let it freeze for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

                          Make the Whipped Cream Topping:

                            - Just before serving, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

                              - Spread the whipped cream over the top of the frozen yogurt mixture, then decorate with fresh sliced strawberries and mint leaves if desired.

                                Serve:

                                  - To serve, remove from the freezer and let sit for about 5 minutes to soften slightly.

                                    - Cut into squares and enjoy your refreshing treat!
