Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup Nutella

1/2 cup granola (your choice)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thick rounds, about 1/2 inch in width. Set aside.

Combine the Yogurt and Sweetener: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup) if using, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Layers: On a parchment-lined tray, place a slice of banana. Top it generously with a teaspoon of Nutella, followed by a dollop of the yogurt mixture. Finally, sprinkle some granola and chopped walnuts on top for extra crunch.

Create the ‘Bombs’: Place another banana slice on top to create a sandwich. Repeat the layering process until all banana slices are used. You can make several ‘bombs’ depending on the number of banana slices.

Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer and let the banana Nutella bombs freeze for at least 3 hours, or until completely solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes to soften slightly. Enjoy these delicious treats straight away or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
