Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

6 popsicle sticks

6 silicone popsicle molds or paper cups

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Begin by slicing the ripe bananas into thin rounds. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can also mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork.

Mix Yogurt Base: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix well until the honey is thoroughly blended into the yogurt.

Add Flavor: Stir in the chopped pecans and cinnamon, if using. If desired, fold in the mini chocolate chips for an added touch of sweetness and texture.

Layer Your Pops: In each silicone mold or paper cup, arrange a few banana slices at the bottom. Then, spoon the yogurt mixture until the molds are filled to about three-quarters full. You can layer additional banana slices in the mixture for a fun visual effect.

Insert Sticks: If using silicone molds, carefully insert popsicle sticks into the centers of the yogurt-filled molds. If using paper cups, place the sticks in the center of the mixture.

Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and allow the pops to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.

Unmold and Serve: Once fully frozen, remove the pops from the molds. If you’re using paper cups, simply peel away the paper. Serve immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment.

Optional Garnish: For an extra treat, roll the finished pops in some crushed pecans or drizzling them with melted dark chocolate before serving!
