Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 tsp salt

Whipped cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir well until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Dough: In a medium bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and the dry mixture until crumbly.

Make the Cinnamon Roll Filling: Fold in the chopped pecans into the dough mixture. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface, about 1/4-inch thick.

Spread the Yogurt Mixture: Spread half of the yogurt mixture evenly over the dough rectangle. Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams to seal.

Slice the Rolls: Cut the log into 1-inch thick slices and place them in a parchment-lined baking dish.

Add More Yogurt Mixture: Drizzle the remaining yogurt mixture over the sliced rolls. Make sure to cover them evenly.

Freeze the Swirls: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until fully frozen.

Serve: When ready to enjoy, remove the swirls from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
