Greek yogurt is a staple in many health-conscious kitchens, celebrated for its thick and creamy texture as well as its nutritional benefits. Unlike regular yogurt, Greek yogurt is strained to remove excess whey, resulting in a denser product that is higher in protein and lower in sugar. This makes it an excellent choice for those looking to increase their protein intake while minimizing added sugars. A typical serving of Greek yogurt provides around 10-20 grams of protein, depending on the brand, making it a satisfying option for anyone seeking to maintain energy levels throughout the day.

Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or your choice of flavor)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup granola (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)

Silicone mold or mini muffin tin

Instructions

Prepare Yogurt Mixture: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Add Granola: Gently fold in the granola and your choice of fresh berries into the yogurt mixture. Ensure that the granola is evenly distributed throughout.

Fill Molds: Spoon the yogurt and granola mixture into silicone molds or a mini muffin tin. Press down slightly to pack the mixture and remove any air pockets. Fill each mold to the top.

Optional Toppings: If desired, sprinkle mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts on top of each bite for added flavor and crunch.

Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.

Remove from Molds: Once frozen, gently pop the bites out of the molds. If using a muffin tin, you may need to let it sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes or run warm water over the outside to loosen them.

Serve or Store: Enjoy immediately or store the frozen yogurt granola bites in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Serve Suggestions: For an extra treat, drizzle some chocolate or a berry sauce over the bites just before serving.
