Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Pretzel Rounds

Ingredients
  

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

1 cup crushed pretzels

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional: chocolate drizzle for serving

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth and well combined.

    Gently fold in the finely chopped strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

      In a separate bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sea salt until the pretzels are well coated.

        Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the yogurt-strawberry mixture onto the sheet, forming small rounds (about 1-2 inches in diameter).

          Press a small amount of the crushed pretzel mixture onto the top of each yogurt round, creating a crunchy topping.

            Once all rounds are formed and topped, place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.

              After freezing, let the rounds sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before serving to soften slightly.

                If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over the rounds before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
