Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

2 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice

1 cup broccoli florets (steamed)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Rice: If not already cooked, prepare your jasmine or basmati rice according to package instructions and set it aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Season the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Finish with Butter: Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the lemon juice to the skillet. Stir the shrimp to coat them in the garlic butter sauce and allow it to simmer for another minute.

Assemble the Bowls: In large serving bowls, start with a base of cooked rice. Top with steamed broccoli, halved cherry tomatoes, and the garlic butter shrimp.

Garnish: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the bowls and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Enjoy: Dig in and enjoy your flavorful Garlic Butter Shrimp and Rice Bowls!
