Ingredients

1 cup popcorn kernels (or 10 cups pre-popped popcorn)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)

Optional: pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor

Optional: 1 tablespoon brown sugar for added sweetness

Instructions

Pop the Corn: If using kernels, pop them using an air popper or on the stovetop in a large pot with a lid. If using pre-popped popcorn, simply set it aside in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Honey Cinnamon Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, lower the heat and stir in the honey, ground cinnamon, sea salt, and optional nutmeg and brown sugar. Mix well until everything is fully combined and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.

Combine: Pour the honey cinnamon butter mixture over the popped popcorn. Gently toss the popcorn with a large spoon or spatula to ensure even coating.

Let It Set: Allow the popcorn to sit for a few minutes to let the coating harden slightly, which makes it less sticky.

Serve: Transfer the popcorn to bowls or a large serving dish. Enjoy warm, or store in an airtight container for later snacking!
