Ingredients

1 lb (450g) chicken tenders

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

½ cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Breading Station: Set up three shallow bowls. In the first, combine the flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. In the second bowl, beat the eggs lightly. In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

Coat the Chicken Tenders: Take each chicken tender and first dip it in the seasoned flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess flour. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, roll it in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs well. Repeat for all chicken tenders.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space in between each piece. Drizzle them with olive oil for a golden finish.

Bake the Chicken Tenders: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Flip the tenders halfway through cooking for even browning.

Glaze with Hot Honey: Remove the chicken tenders from the oven and immediately drizzle the hot honey over each piece while they are still warm. Ensure they are well coated for that irresistible sweet and spicy flavor.

Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color. These tenders are perfect served with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of coleslaw!
