Meat Lovers Pizza Tortellini

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled

1 cup pepperoni, sliced

1 cup diced ham

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1 cup marinara sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare Meat Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, pepperoni, ham, and bacon. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

        Combine with Sauce: Add the marinara sauce to the meat mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

          Mix Tortellini and Sauce: Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the meat and sauce mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

            Layer the Dish: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spoon half of the tortellini and meat mixture into the bottom. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Layer the remaining tortellini on top, followed by the rest of the marinara mixture. Finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.

              Bake: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the top of the assembled dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly with a slight golden color.

                Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let the dish cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, then slice and serve warm.
