Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 lb spicy breakfast sausage

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (11 oz) corn, drained

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

1 tbsp taco seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Fresh chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Tortilla chips (for serving)

Instructions

Brown the Meats: In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and spicy breakfast sausage. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat as it cooks—about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Mix Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies (including juice), black beans, corn, cream cheese, and sour cream to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

Season the Dip: Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly to ensure all spices are evenly distributed.

Melt the Cheeses: Lower the heat to medium-low, then gradually add the shredded cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. This should take about 5 minutes.

Bake for Extra Flavor (optional): If you prefer a baked dip, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is bubbly and slightly golden.

Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, and serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping.
