Mini BBQ Chicken Biscuit Sliders

Ingredients
  

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite variety)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sliced pickles (optional)

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Chicken:

    - In a medium skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

      - Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

        Shred the Chicken:

          - Once cooled, shred the chicken using two forks or your hands. Place the shredded chicken back in the skillet and mix with BBQ sauce until well combined. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes until warmed through.

            Preheat the Oven:

              - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

                Prepare the Biscuits:

                  - While the oven is preheating, open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.

                    Assemble the Sliders:

                      - On half of the flattened biscuits, add a generous spoonful of the BBQ chicken mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken. If using, add pickle slices for extra crunch.

                        - Top with the remaining half of the biscuits, pressing down gently to seal the sliders.

                          Bake:
