Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small yellow onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

24 wonton wrappers

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/3 cup dill pickle slices, chopped

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula and cook until browned and fully cooked, approximately 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Mixture: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the cheddar cheese until melted and well distributed.

Prepare Wonton Wrappers: Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing down gently to form a taco shape.

Fill Wontons: Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture into each wonton shell.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy.

Assemble Tacos: Once baked, let the taco shells cool slightly. Top each wonton taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped pickles.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and ketchup to create a quick burger sauce. Drizzle this over each taco or serve on the side for dipping.

Garnish & Serve: Finally, garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Mini Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos!
