Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if you prefer baking, or heat oil in a deep pan for frying.

Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until fully cooked and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Prepare the Wonton Wrappers: Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean, dry surface. If baking, lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and press the wonton wrappers into the tin, creating cups. For frying, set aside a surface to shape the wontons.

Fill the Wrappers: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. For baked wontons, fold the edges upwards into a cup shape. For fried wontons, you can fold them diagonally to form a triangle or gather the corners and pinch to seal into a bag shape.

            Cooking Options:

              - Baking: Place the filled wonton cups in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden and crispy.

                - Frying: Carefully lower the wonton bites into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve: Let the Mini Chicken Ranch Wonton Bites cool slightly before serving. They can be served warm with extra ranch dressing for dipping.
