1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup key lime juice (freshly squeezed is best)

1 teaspoon lime zest

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Lime wedges and zest for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

    - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and resemble wet sand.

      - Divide the crust mixture evenly among 6 (8 oz) mason jars, pressing it down firmly at the bottom to create an even layer. Set aside.

        Make the Filling:

          - In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, lime zest, and salt until fully combined and smooth.

            - Carefully spoon the filling over the crust layer in each jar, filling them about 3/4 full.

              Chill the Jars:

                - Place the jars in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours, allowing the filling to set.

                  Prepare the Whipped Cream:

                    - In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.

                        - Once chilled, remove the jars from the refrigerator. Top each one with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
