2 cups vegetable broth

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Sauté the Broccoli: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the fresh broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

      Add Rice and Broth: Stir in the brown rice, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

        Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet with a lid, and let simmer for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

          Combine Cheeses: In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and milk. Mix until smooth and creamy.

            Mix Cheesy Sauce: Once the rice is tender, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the creamy cheese mixture until well combined. Ensure the broccoli is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
