Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup fig jam

1 1/2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced

1/2 cup arugula

1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Cornmeal (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat as well.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. If using a pizza stone, sprinkle a thin layer of cornmeal on your pizza peel to prevent sticking.

Add the Fig Jam: Carefully spread the fig jam evenly over the stretched dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border around the edges.

Layer the Cheese: Arrange the fresh mozzarella slices over the fig jam, ensuring even coverage.

Top with Prosciutto: Gently drape the thin slices of prosciutto over the cheese, creating an attractive pattern.

Season It: Drizzle olive oil on top, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.

Bake: Carefully slide the prepared pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Add Fresh Ingredients: Once out of the oven, immediately top the pizza with arugula and crumbled goat cheese.

Finish with Balsamic: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top for a tangy finish.

Slice and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and enjoy your Spicy Fig & Prosciutto Pizza Delight!
