Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup corned beef, thinly sliced

1 cup sauerkraut, drained and squeezed dry

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing

1 tsp caraway seeds (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing. If you appreciate a hint of flavor, add the caraway seeds. Mix well until all ingredients are uniform.

Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean, flat surface. You should see 8 triangles. Pinch the seams to seal any openings to ensure the filling doesn’t leak out during baking.

Assemble the Rolls: Place a generous tablespoon of the filling at the widest end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough towards the pointed end, tucking in the sides slightly as you go to fully encase the filling.

Apply Egg Wash: Once rolled, place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden, shiny finish.

Bake the Rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown. Keep an eye on them towards the end for perfect browning.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and allow the rolls to cool slightly. For an extra touch, sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve warm, with extra Thousand Island dressing on the side for dipping, if desired.
