Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken bites into the bowl with the marinade. Toss until each piece is well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight for deeper flavor).

Preheat the Pan: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Allow the oil to heat for about 2-3 minutes.

Cook the Chicken Bites: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Carefully place the chicken bites in the hot skillet in an even layer. Sear for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Add the Remaining Marinade: Pour any leftover marinade over the chicken in the skillet. Stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the chicken.

Garnish and Serve: Once the chicken is well-coated and sticky, remove from heat. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm, alongside your choice of rice, vegetables, or as an appetizer.
