1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lime juice

2 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 ripe avocado, diced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)

1 tablespoon honey (optional for extra sweetness)

8 large romaine or butter lettuce leaves

Lime wedges, for serving

Prepare the Shrimp Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

    Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and pink, stirring occasionally.

      Make the Avocado Filling: In a separate bowl, gently combine the diced avocado, chopped cilantro, jalapeño (if using), and honey (if using). Add a pinch of salt and mix carefully to maintain the avocado chunks.

        Assemble the Lettuce Wraps: Take a lettuce leaf and spoon a generous amount of the avocado mixture in the center. Top with 3-4 pieces of spicy shrimp. You can add extra cilantro on top if desired.
