Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 ounces fettuccine or your pasta of choice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Prepare the Steaks: While the pasta cooks, season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. When hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side (for medium rare), or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Ingredients: Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Italian seasoning. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Toss the Pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the creamy sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve: Slice the rested steaks against the grain and serve over a bed of creamy pasta. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
