1 ripe banana, sliced

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Ice cubes (optional, for a frosty texture)

Instructions
 

Prepare Ingredients: If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. Peel and slice the banana.

    Blend Oats: Add the rolled oats to a blender and pulse them a few times until they are finely ground (this step is optional but helps create a smoother texture).

      Combine Ingredients: In the blender, add the ground oats, sliced banana, strawberries, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

        Blend: Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth. If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add more almond milk; for a thicker texture, add more oats or ice cubes.

          Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and add additional sweetener if needed. Blend again briefly to mix.

            Serve: Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and garnish with extra slices of banana or whole strawberries on top if desired.
