Ingredients

1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small wedges

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Sea salt, for finishing

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the puff pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry into a rectangle. Cut it into 12 squares (approximately 3x3 inches each).

Assemble the bites: Place a wedge of Brie in the center of each pastry square. Top with a few slices of fresh strawberries. Drizzle a tiny amount of honey over the strawberries for added sweetness.

Fold and seal: Bring the corners of each pastry square up and over the filling, pinching them together at the top to seal. You can twist them slightly for a decorative touch.

Egg wash: Place the filled pastries on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish while baking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown and flaky.

Finish and serve: Once out of the oven, drizzle the bites with balsamic glaze, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve warm.
