Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup apple butter

1 ½ cups cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup thinly sliced apples (i.e., Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

2 tablespoons honey (for drizzling)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, apple butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth and well incorporated. Set aside.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay out a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add the Apples: Place a few slices of apple in a line down the center of the tortilla. If using, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top of the apples for added crunch.

Roll the Tortilla: Carefully roll the tortilla tightly from one edge to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.

Toasting the Wraps: Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Serve: Once toasted, remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute. Slice each wrap into pinwheels or serve whole. Drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm or at room temperature as a delightful breakfast, snack, or dessert!
