1 cup (8 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

For the Peanut Butter Swirl:

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1-2 tbsp milk (or as needed for consistency)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Melt Chocolate and Butter: In a medium heatproof bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter. Melt together in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and completely combined.

      Mix Sugars and Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted chocolate mixture. Let it cool slightly before adding the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

          Make the Peanut Butter Swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to achieve a smooth, drizzling consistency.

            Scoop & Swirl: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the brownie cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Then, using a small spoon or toothpick, take a small amount of the peanut butter mixture and swirl it into each brownie cookie dough ball.
