Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1/4 cup almond milk (more if needed for desired consistency)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: berries, crushed nuts, or coconut whipped cream

Instructions

Prep the Avocados: Start by cutting the avocados in half, removing the pits, and scooping out the flesh into a medium mixing bowl or a food processor.

Blend Ingredients: Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the bowl or food processor with the avocados.

Mix Until Smooth: Blend the mixture on high until it reaches a creamy, mousse-like consistency. Scrape down the sides as needed. If the mousse is too thick, add a little more almond milk until you achieve the desired texture.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup, ensuring it’s perfect for your palate.

Chill: Transfer the mousse into individual serving cups or a bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour, allowing the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up.

Serve: Once chilled, serve the mousse as is or topped with fresh berries, crushed nuts, or a dollop of coconut whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
