1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cucumber, finely grated and drained

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt to taste

For Assembling:

4 whole wheat or regular pita breads

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken:

    - In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

      - Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

        Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce:

          - In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt.

            - Stir well to combine. Adjust seasoning and let it chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the chicken.

              Cook the Chicken:

                - Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and shake off excess.

                  - Grill or cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

                    Slice the Chicken:

                      - Once rested, slice the chicken into strips.

                        Assemble the Pita Pockets:

                          - Warm the pita breads in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.

                            - Open each pita pocket gently and layer in the sliced chicken, a handful of chopped romaine, cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, and crumbled feta cheese.

                              Add Tzatziki:
